Story Rising events are designed as a provision to survivors of clergy sexual abuse - it’s a safe space to reclaim a sense of self within a story of abuse. With the support of coaches/facilitators who have combined expertise and training in trauma-informed care and abuse recovery, participants can identify, name, and sort the wounded parts of their story and curate them into a meaningful, truth-filled narrative. This offers tools that can help build resilience to navigate ongoing recovery and any personal, spiritual, relational, or legal challenges on the journey ahead.
